#InTheNews: Disney Star Doom

TMZ reported today, “The Famous Jett Jackson” star, Lee Thompson Young, was found dead in his Los Angeles home this morning. Young started his career with Disney in the late 90s.

The show was a success and turned into a movie in 2001. He also had some short-lived success with Disney’s original movie, “Johnny Tsunami” (1999). However, the didn’t appear in the movie’s sequel in 2007.

The young star did have other victories on the screen. He played on the hit comedy show “Scrubs,” a TV drama “Flash Forward,” and lastly had a reoccurring role on TNT’s drama, “Rizzoli & Isles” – just to name a few.

According to what’s being reported right now, when he didn’t show up to the set of “Rizzoli & Isles” this morning, his landlord was asked to check his apartment. Subsequently, the discovery was made. As of right now, it’s noted that he suffered a gunshot wound, possibly a suicide, but the cause of death is not being confirmed.

Lee was only 29 years old. Prayers and condolences go out to the family.
