You don’t hear much about the Fat Boys anymore. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I heard a Fat Boys song on the radio.
I can – however – remember that “Wipe Out” song being drilled into my skull on every major music outlet back in the day. I also remember the first time I saw this movie. My mother took me. I believe it was the first time I saw bare breasts while watching something with one of my parents. It was a bit traumatic. Good thing the movie was so great. At least back then. Nevertheless homage is paid to the Fat Boys this Throwback Thursday.
Disorderlies, released in 1987, is a delightful comedy about racial harmony, rich people, real family, and rap music. Not necessarily in that order. If you’ve never seen it,
roll up pop some popcorn and hang out for a few.
